Follow Our Progress
ANR is playing a leading role, in support of courageous casino workers who are speaking out like never before, on the campaign to eliminate indoor smoking from Atlantic City casinos to protect employees and guests – and we’re making significant progress. Bipartisan bills in both legislative chambers gain new co-sponsors almost every week, growing to unprecedented support for the effort that has strong support from New Jersey voters. Governor Phil Murphy has also repeatedly said he’d sign such legislation once it reaches his desk. With a broad coalition that is keeping attention on this issue, we are optimistic that we will overcome casino industry scare tactics and advance the legislation this session.
